Volunteer brand design means helping community members develop better visual identities. Fellow content creators, indie writers and publishers, small businesses, and illustrators with a talent for art but not logo design - that’s my focus. Artists often show up with an idea or identity, I work best when I can help refine it.

I want to make memorable logos that help small businesses and passion projects stand out and succeed.

Late 2000s original. Fun design, but the use case - in comics - meant the logo was often seen at a distance, where detail was lost.

Vectorized version keeps the vertical asymmetry, reduces the number of lines, but keeps the feeling of complexity. Most importantly, easier to render when artists are illustrating it in comic pages.
